Capital Campaign Is Underway

We’re ready to move to the next level of our vision.  We want to create an infrastructure that supports year-round use of U Bar U, and that includes installing air conditioning, the addition of a sleeping porch, completion of one of our straw bale cottages, and the building of a deck around our swimming tank to provide a safe place for cooling off on hot Texas days.

The board of U Bar U is launching a fund drive and wants to encourage you to be a part of this exciting endeavor.  We have had a generous anonymous gift of matching funds up to $15,000 so that any contribution you can make will actually double in value! 

This is a wonderful opportunity to move forward with necessary improvements so that we can offer more programs and accommodate more UU’s who want to reconnect with each other and with nature—and we can have air conditioning installed before the heat of summer!
