UBarU Men-Aligned Retreat February 26-28, 2027

You are invited to join other Men-aligned folks from UU churches across Texas who will gather for a weekend retreat at UBarU Camp & Retreat Center near Kerrville. Come and enjoy fellowship in the Texas Hill Country. Rest, relax, enjoy delicious meals and use the time as a break from your normal routines and schedules.

We will begin gathering Friday afternoon to share an evening meal and end mid-morning Sunday. We will lodge one person in each Private room in the Dwight & Marie Brown Center and Sojourner and others in the bunks; or, if you prefer, bring a tent and enjoy a night under the stars.

Please bring your own toiletries, clothes, medications, towel, sheets & blanket (or sleeping bag), and pillow, as well as any snacks and libations you would enjoy.

Activities will include special programs with opportunities for self-reflection; stargazing at UBarU’s observatory; hiking around UBarU's beautiful, rugged 142 acres; and, importantly, fellowship. As anyone who has attended one of these retreats during the past two decades will tell you, the event offers a pleasant, relaxing time to unwind and get away for a few days while enjoying fellowship with others. Pricing info: Cost for the full weekend includes food, lodging and programming. Sign up soon to take advantage of the early-bird prices. Options include the full weekend, one night of lodging or a day trip Saturday. Prices will increase after February 5. Registration closes on February 20.
